This painting looks softly along the Northern Beaches coastline, with the headlands unfolding one after another as they disappear into the distance.

I have always loved this view and the way the coastline seems to stretch on endlessly, with each curve revealing the next. In this piece I wanted to capture that gentle feeling of space, distance and calm, with the soft blues and muted tones creating a quiet sense of light and atmosphere.
